This Privacy Policy describes how TourOS Calendar Access collects, uses, and discloses user information within the scope of its integration with Google Calendar. By using the Application, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy.
1. Google Calendar Data Access and Collection
TourOS Calendar Access accesses the following data from your Google account, exclusively via your explicit consent (OAuth), to provide the Application's core features:
- Calendar Metadata: A list of your Google calendars so you can select the target(s) for your events.
- Event Data:
- Creation of new events in the selected calendar.
- Accessing and editing existing events in the selected calendar.
- Deletion of events in the selected calendar.
Note: TourOS Calendar Access only accesses the calendars and events that the user explicitly selects and authorizes through the Google authentication process.
2. Limited Use Policy
TourOS Calendar Access strictly adheres to the requirements of the Google Limited Use Policy. This is the fundamental guarantee regarding your data:
- No Sale: TourOS Calendar Access will NEVER sell or rent user data to third parties.
- No Transfer: TourOS Calendar Access will NOT transfer Google Calendar data to third parties, except (a) if necessary to provide or improve the Application's services, (b) to comply with applicable law, or (c) as part of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
- No Advertising: TourOS Calendar Access will NOT use Google Calendar data (including event content) for advertising purposes.
- Functionality Only: TourOS Calendar Access will only use calendar data to provide the features described in Section 1 (Create, Edit, Delete events).
3. Data Use and Processing
The data collected from your Google account is used only for the purpose for which it was provided:
- Execution of Actions: To allow you to create, edit, and delete Google Calendar events according to your intent and interaction with TourOS Calendar Access.
- Service Improvement: Only non-identifiable usage data (e.g., error logs, API response times) may be collected to diagnose failures and improve the stability of TourOS Calendar Access.
4. Data Storage and Retention
- TourOS Calendar Access does not permanently store your Google Calendar data (such as event details). Data is processed in real-time (in transit) to execute requested actions (creation, editing, or deletion) and then discarded.
- Any error logs or calendar metadata necessary for functionality are stored securely for the strictly necessary amount of time and protected against unauthorized access.
5. User Rights and Data Deletion
Users may stop using the application at any time.
- Revocation of Access: You can revoke TourOS Calendar Access's permissions to your Google account at any time via your Google account security settings. Revocation will immediately cause TourOS Calendar Access to lose the ability to access or modify your calendars.
- Deletion Request: In addition to revoking access, you may request the deletion of any data that TourOS Calendar Access may have retained (such as support logs or non-identifiable usage data) by contacting us via the details below.
